Job Description

Job Title: Security Officer (3rd Shift)

Job Summary: The 3rd shift Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by patrolling park property, preventing incidents, and responding to security concerns. This role supports guest assistance, traffic control, and overall loss prevention.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Patrol Park grounds (vehicle patrol) and monitor for safety or security issues.
  • Enforce Park rules, policies, and applicable laws.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and unusual situations.
  • Assist guests, employees, and visitors as needed.
  • Monitor entrances/exits and direct traffic or parking when required.
  • Complete reports and maintain confidentiality.
  • Support park cleanliness and general operations as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must pass background check and drug screening

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Ability to enforce rules while maintaining a positive guest experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and patrol up to 1 mile
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
