Job Description

If you love working with people and enjoy being at the center of the action, we want to hear from you!  As the Receptionist with this busy law office, you will be providing indispensable customer service support to this firm for the evening shift, maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for receiving clients, guests, and staff. The organization needs an enthusiastic and courteous candidate to serve as the face of the DC office. The successful candidate will be hardworking, proactive, and committed to providing white glove service to everyone working in and visiting the office.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, greeting employees, clients, and visitors as they arrive at the office.
  • Manage a busy multi-line phone system, screening and directing calls, promptly addressing incoming requests, preparing correspondence, and operating as a general gatekeeper for the office.
  • Coordinate and prepare conference rooms, maintain a busy conference room calendar, and handle catering and set-up logistics.
  • Maintain the appearance of the front office, prepare cab vouchers, and update the firm’s contact database.
  • Sort incoming mail, distribute through the office efficiently, and assist with mass mailings.
  • Assist with overall office upkeep, scheduling building maintenance as requested.
  • Provide administrative overflow support.
