Job Description

Salary: $124,800 - 156,000 per year Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in Power BI and SQL
• Familiarity with both On-Premises and Cloud technologies using SQL, Azure Technologies, Power BI, and DAX
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in utilizing Python or PowerShell for developing API pipelines for data importation
• Proven experience creating and maintaining SQL Server Agent Jobs and Windows Scheduler Jobs
• Knowledge of database technologies and data warehouses
• Experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Experience with Python is an advantage
• Prior experience in financial services risk and regulatory reporting is preferred

• Develop, oversee, and sustain data dashboards, reports, and visualizations that offer insights into critical business metrics
• Discover opportunities to enhance data workflows via automation
• Collaborate closely with departmental leaders to ascertain business needs
• Design technical specifications for data engineering jobs/processes to meet business demands
• Play an active role in establishing and honing data engineering best practices
• Assist the data architect in adhering to coding standards and best practices, producing robust, scalable, and reusable code
• Provide support and troubleshoot data environments, enhancing performance as needed
• Gather and analyze business requirements to design data models and create data pipelines for ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading)
• Work alongside business partners and technical teams to maintain data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and security
• Assess new data sources and tools to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data methodologies and processes
