We are looking for a sharp, driven Mechanical Engineering Summer Intern who wants more than a line on a resume. This is for someone who genuinely loves engineering, loves building, loves solving problems, and gets excited about complex technology.

We are a high-technology company in Sanford, Florida that designs, builds, and supports advanced robotic interventional imaging systems used in cardiovascular and gastrointestinal surgical procedures. Our work sits at the intersection of mechanical design, medical technology, precision engineering, and real-world clinical impact.

This paid role is ideal for a student who is already showing signs of becoming a serious engineer, not just in the classroom, but in how they think, what they build, and how they carry themselves.

What You Will Do

• Support the design and refinement of mechanical components and assemblies
• Clean up and improve new designs in SolidWorks
• Help create clear, accurate work instructions to support the repeatable, reliable assembly of complex mechanical systems
• Assist in organizing design details so assemblies can be built accurately, reliably, and consistently
• Contribute to a hands-on engineering environment focused on precision and continuous improvement

What We Want

• Pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree
• Junior standing preferred
• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Strong mechanical aptitude and sound engineering judgment
