Licensed Hair Stylist – Galveston

FS Cut & Color in Galveston is hiring licensed hair stylists to join our team!

We currently have two stylist openings and are looking for friendly, dependable, guest-focused stylists who enjoy haircuts, color, styling, and working in a busy salon environment.

This is a great opportunity for a stylist who wants steady guests, a supportive team, continued education, and room to grow behind the chair.

About the Role

As a Hair Stylist at FS Cut & Color, you will provide professional salon services while creating a welcoming and positive experience for every guest. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and wants to be part of a team that values professionalism, consistency, and great guest care.

What You’ll Do

• Provide haircuts, color, styling, and finishing services
• Consult with guests to understand their goals and recommend the right services
• Create a friendly, professional, and welcoming guest experience
• Help guests feel confident before they leave the salon
• Recommend products and services that support the guest’s hair goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional station
• Follow salon standards for service, sanitation, and guest care
• Work as part of a team to support a smooth salon flow
• Stay open to coaching, continued education, and skill development

What We’re Looking For

• Current Texas cosmetology license
• Salon experience preferred
• Strong haircutting, color, and styling skills
• Friendly personality and great communication
• Dependability and professionalism
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
• Willingness to learn and continue growing
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
• Extensions or Brazilian Blowout certification is a plus, but not required
