HVAC Foreman Position Overview
The HVAC Foreman position involves overseeing commercial HVAC installation projects, including sheet metal, spiral ducts, and rooftop units, while ensuring high-quality work and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
- Inspect equipment and materials to identify issues.
- Operate tools and machinery safely.
- Analyze information to make informed decisions.
- Provide daily guidance to teams and train apprentices.
- Complete all on-site documentation accurately.
- Lead installation teams and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Attend project meetings as required.
- Be available to work extra days as needed.
Minimum Job Requirements :
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong mechanical skills and a willingness to learn.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in reading construction documents and performing basic math.
- Competence in following directions with minimal supervision.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred field experience as an HVAC Foreman and in commercial HVAC applications.
