COMPANY OVERVIEW:

Beach Retreats offers a collection of unique, independent properties in Ocracoke Island, Nags Head, and Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. The properties range from inns and B&Bs to villas, beach bungalows and motels. Each property is highly individual and enables guests to experience each destination on their own terms. Each Beach Retreats location has a designated innkeeper or site manager, who will be your on-site contact ensuring your vacation is relaxing and memorable. While our office hours vary by location and time of year, all properties also provide an emergency contact number for any after-hours needs.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Housekeeper at Beach Retreats, you’ll be a key part of creating a relaxing, welcoming experience for our guests. From spotless rooms to fresh linens, your attention to detail helps set the tone for unforgettable stays. You’ll handle everything from cleaning guest rooms and common areas to tackling laundry and keeping things looking their best behind the scenes. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms
• Thoroughly clean common areas and office spaces as directed
• Linen stocked daily
• Laundry as required
• Organizing and maintaining cleanliness of linen areas, laundry rooms and closets
• Check inventory supplies regularly and report restocking needs to Manager
• Employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of cleaning experience, preferably in hotels
• Dependable and reliable
• People and service oriented
• Adaptable/flexible
• Must have reliable vehicle and driver's license
• Employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $16.00

Schedule

• Varies based on business needs but normal shift starts at 830am. Must be able to work weekends.
