This role supports a busy fabrication and welding operation by preparing materials, maintaining clean and organized workspaces, and assisting with a variety of production tasks. You will work closely with the welding department, performing tack welding, sanding, grinding, and layout of brackets while learning to operate welding equipment and other tools. The position involves hands-on work with metal components, equipment upkeep, and basic inspection to ensure quality and safety on the production floor.
Responsibilities
You will join a rapidly growing organization that offers strong job stability and ongoing opportunities as the operation expands, including the addition of new night shifts. The environment rewards reliability, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn, providing hands-on training and exposure to a wide range of fabrication and welding activities. This is a place where hard work is recognized, and growth is supported as the company continues to scale.
Work Environment
The role is based in a very industrial indoor and outdoor facility with extensive fabrication activity. The setting feels more like a construction site than a traditional manufacturing plant, with heavy equipment, metalwork, and active production areas. You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, and navigating an environment with ongoing welding, grinding, and sandblasting. Multiple rotating shifts are available: A and B shifts are day shifts running from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., while C and D shifts are night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The shift pattern follows a repeating rotation across days of the week, requiring flexibility and reliability for long, structured shifts in a demanding industrial setting.
