Job Title: Construction Technician
Job Description

Join our team to assist with moving tools and equipment into a high-profile plant. You'll be contracted to handle machinery and tool hookup for the East side of the facility, which includes tasks such as unboxing crates, using hand or band saws, unwrapping equipment, and moving machinery into place. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and has previous experience with conveyor installation or industrial machinery setup. Possession of an OSHA 10 certification is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in moving tools into the plant.
  • Unbox crates and unwrap equipment.
  • Utilize hand saws or band saws as needed.
  • Help with machinery and tool hookup.
  • Read and interpret prints/schematic drawings.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of construction experience.
  • Experience as a millwright or carpenter.
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with conveyor installation is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Reliable transportation.

Work Environment

Work in a high-volume production and construction site. This role requires personal protective equipment including hard hats and vests, which you must provide. The work schedule spans Monday through Sunday, with shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taylor, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
